The Royal Ruby stereo camera was a wooden folding plate stereo camera for the 4 1/2"×6 1/2" format. It was made in 1896 by Thornton-Pickard Mfg. Co., Altrincham. It was equipped with a pair of Busch Detective Applanat #2 lenses and a single speed shutter that was switchable to time mode.
