Minox AX

The Minox Model AX was introduced in 1992 as a limited edition, all mechanical camera. It has a cut down Minox LX body, but with the mechanical shutter mechanism from the Minox BL.

In 1994, 250 gold finished models were produced for Photokina.

In 1995, a gold finished Walter Zapp "signature model", the Gold AX II was released in an unknown quantity to celebrate 50 years of Minox as a German company.

After 1996, approximately 222 black matte finished AX models were released.
